Rebecca Poirier, our City Clerk, has provided the following information for the viewing election results. Beginning Wednesday, November 4th, updates will be posted usually in the time frame between 3:30 PM and 5PM which will enable you to track the Torrance School Board election. Late in the day on Wednesday, the PDF version of the semi-final Statement of Votes Cast (SVC) will be available here: https://www.lavote.net/home/voting-elections/current-elections/election-results/past-election-results Tally Updates During Canvass The Los Angeles County Registrar Recorder / County Clerk post-election ballot counting/tally update schedule below: Update 1 – Wed, 11/4 Update 2 – Thu, 11/5 Update 3 – Fri, 11/6 Update 4 – Tue, 11/10 Update 5 – Fri, 11/13 Update 6 – Tue, 11/17 Update 7 – Fri, 11/20 Update 8 – Tue, 11/24 Update 9 – Fri, 11/27 Update 10 – Mon, 11/30 This schedule is subject to change. Updates 1, 2, 9 and 10 are expected to have smaller quantities of ballots than all the other updates. As of now, RRCC staff will be working on Veterans Day (10/11) and the 4 day Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. Please keep in mind that all updates are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. after which the results are posted online. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
