Protestors at Torrance City Hall and Trump National Golf Course

Weekly Crime Report for May 17 to May 23, 2020

  This report is for Sunday, May 17, 2020 through Saturday, May 23, 2020. 38 incidents in the Torrance Police Weekly Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showdocument?id=59437   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY None   COMMERCIAL BURGLARY There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.   AUTO BURGLARY There were 11 incidents in Torrance and one in Southeast Torrance. 5/17 9PM to 5/18 3PM  23200 Block Huber Av  wallet stolen.   5 vehicles were unlocked, windows were smashed in 3 vehicles and door locks punched in 3 vehicles for entry.   Items stolen included fire extinguisher, respirator masks, wallets, bag, stethoscope, gift card, cash, bank card, registration and backpack.   AUTO THEFT There were 11 incidents in Torrance. 5 in North Torrance, 2 in Southwood, 1 each in Walteria, Old Torrance, Delthorne and Southeast Torrance. 5/21 to 5/26  2400 Block 227th St stolen 2001 Chev S10   THEFT There were 11 incidents in

As the D-Day Squadron looks back a year ago  on those efforts,  there’s a strong understanding of how fortunate they were to be able to fly there at all.
