Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance 8 5 18 to 8 11 18

  This report is from Sunday, August 5, 2018 through Saturday, August 11, 2018. 50 items were listed on the report.  Link to the complete Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log.  https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showdocument?id=42321   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 8 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 5 in North Torrance, 2 in Hollywood Riviera and 1 in Seaside.   AUTO BURGLARIES There were 10 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 3 vehicles were unlocked, 3 had smashed windows for entry, 2 punched locks, 1 unknown, 1 window pried and 1 was a pickup bed.   AUTO THEFT There were 4 vehicles stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.   THEFT There were 13 incidents and none in Southeast Torrance. 4 car batteries were stolen, 1 set of third row seats and another report of a theft from a gym locker.   John Bailey, President Southeast Torrance Homeowners’ Association, Inc.   This report is for Sunday,  July 29, 2018 through Thursday, August 2, 2018. Unable to explain why data for Friday, Saturday and Sunday has not been available for the last two weeks.    Link to the Torrance Police Department Crime Log:  https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showdocument?id=42201   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There was 1 in Torrance in the Southwood area.   AUTO BURGLARIES There were 9 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.   AUTO THEFT There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.   THEFT There were 13 incidents including 1 in Southeast Torrance. 7/30/18 8:30PM to 7/31/18 8:30AM   1900 Block Reynosa Drive  vehicle’s catalytic converter stolen. Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance 7 22 18 through 7 26 18

  This report is for Sunday, July 22, 2018 through Thursday, July 26,2018 and not the entire week. All three involved garages only.   AUTO BURGLARIES There were 2 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. On July 25th between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM, a suspect took victim’s gym bag from his unsecured locker and used the victim’s keys to enter victim’s vehicle to steal his cell phone and wallet.  The gym is located in the 3500 Block of Carson St.   AUTO THEFT There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.   THEFT 11 incidents were reported in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
