  Response from Community Affairs, Torrance Police Department on the police activity this morning.   John Bailey, President Southeast Torrance Homeowners’ Association, Inc. (SETHA)       Hello John, This was a police operation where Torrance Police SWAT team was utilized. This was a very controlled operation during which none of the public was at risk. The police operation culminated few hours ago and rest ashore there is no danger to the public. Furthermore, Rest assure that Torrance Police Department does its best to protect its citizens and to provide the best service. Also, due to the fact this is an ongoing investigation I cannot make any further comments related to that.   This report is for Sunday, February 10, 2019 through Saturday, February 16, 2019. 47 incidents on the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showdocument?id=48499 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 2 in North Torrance and 1 in West Torrance. The two in North Torrance involved taking property out of unlocked garages. AUTO BURGLARIES There were 15 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 9 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed in 3 vehicles. A vehicle parked at 3500 Carson St (Mall) on Sunday, February 10th at 6:45PM had 3 windows smashed.  Luggage, a backpack, jacket and wallet were stolen. ExxonMobil settles with OSHA on 2015 Explosion and Fire at the Torrance Refinery
