RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in North Torrance, 1 each in Hillside and Delthorne.
 
COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES
6 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
7 2 2020  2200 Sepulveda Blvd   Suspect took checks out of drop box.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 17 in Torrance and 3 in Southeast Torrance.
6/29 to 6/30  23300 Block Arlington Av  Vehicle entered by unknown means with
tire compressor, flashlight and jumper cables stolen.
7/1 to 7/2  2300 Block 230th Pl  Suspect took property out of possible unlocked vehicle
Leaf blower, hedge trimmer, chainsaw, weed whacker, sunglasses, garage remote, gas can and keys.
7/1  9:43 AM  2300 Sepulveda Blvd  Suspect entered unlocked vehicle, ransacked and took pellet gun, case, chronograph, backpack, air gun laser sight and grinder tool.
 
7/2/2020  2500 Pacific Coast Highway   Suspect taps on victim’s vehicle window, informs her of tacks near her vehicle’s tire, then takes property out of her purse when she exits her vehicle to observe.  Victim had just left one bank where she had withdrawn cash and parked at a second bank.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 5 stolen vehicles in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
7/2 to 7/3  22800 Crenshaw Blvd  Stolen ‘02 RV
 
THEFT
There 28 incidents in Torrance including 1 in Southeast Torrance.
16  catalytic converters were stolen including 6 removed during daylight hours.
7 3 2020   5PM  2400 237th Pl  Suspect attempted to steal catalytic converter.
1 incident of porch piracy in the 23100 Block of Anza Avenue.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
