There are 62 incidents in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at:
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in Delthorne, Old Town, Riviera and Southwood Riviera.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 11 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
Windows were smashed in 5 vehicles for entry and 4 vehicles were unlocked.
7 15 5PM to 7 16 2PM  2000 Block 234th St  Suspect pried open door for entry,
ransacks and takes charger, shoes, and flashlight.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 8 in Torrance and 2 in Southeast Torrance.
7 14 10PM to 7 15 11AM  2200 Block 230th Place  Stolen 2000 Ford E250
7 15   7PM to 7 16   8AM  23600 Arlington Av Stolen 2017 Yamaha Motorcycle
 
THEFT
There were 18 incidents in Torrance including 10 catalytic converter incidents and
1 in Southeast Torrance.  4 of the converters were stolen during daylight hours.
 
7 16 10:55PM  23400 Arlington Av  Catalytic converter stolen.
 
Catalytic converter incidents were in the Greenwood Park area, North Torrance,
Torrance Civic Plaza and Medical Center, Hillside, Country Hills, City Hall Complex and
West Torrance.
 
During the week of 7-5 to 7-11, there were 10 catalytic converter incidents in Lomita.
A beige sedan, a green Honda Odyssey, and white four door sedan were reported seen
by the victims.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
