Item 8B on the agenda for the Torrance City Council Meeting on Tuesday, August 27th at 7:00 pm is
to replace the playground equipment and exercise area equipment at Sur La Brea Park in Southeast Torrance.
The funding for this $158,000.00 project is from Proposition A funds.   The link below has all the details.
 The final design of the project includes the feedback from the two community meetings and the Park   Recreation Commission meeting.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
