AQMD Torrance Air Quality Monitoring Project Launching in August 2019

The  Torrance Air Quality Monitoring Project, sponsored by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is officially launching this month.

The Torrance Air project, sponsored by South Coast AQMD, is now monitoring a range of air pollutants across the city of Torrance.
Information about local air quality will soon be available to residents online!

What information will be available on the Torrance Air website?
The website will soon be providing public, near-real time air quality information gathered from three community monitoring sites throughout the city of Torrance.
These sites are located at:
  • North Torrance High School
  • West Torrance High School
  • Elm Avenue: 1001 Elm Avenue
  • A fourth community monitoring site located at Guenser Park is also planned for future installation.

How can you help spread the word?
