RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in the Hillside, North and Seaside areas.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in North Torrance, and 1 each in the Hillside, Del Amo Mall and Riviera areas.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 7 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 11 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
An outgoing parcel was stolen in the 18500 Block of Wilton Place.
A delivered parcel was stolen off a porch in the 17300 Block of Delia Avenue.
Catalytic converters were removed from vehicles in the 900 Block of Maple
Avenue and the 17000 Block of Delia Avenue

Suspect uses a handgun to shoot victim in the neck.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
