RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance.  1 in North Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
6/21  8PM to 6/22 7AM     2200 Block 236th Street  Residence being fumigated.
Window screen on house tented for fumigation removed, property ransacked
and binoculars, camera and jewelry stolen.
 
6/18 7:30PM to 6/19 7:45PM    2000 Block 159th Street   Screen pried off window
and attempt to slide window open failed.  No entry, no loss.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 13 in Torrance and 2 in Southeast Torrance.
8 vehicles were unlocked, 1 vehicle had window smashed, 3 vehicles were unknown
entry, and 1 vehicle the window was forced.
 
6/20 9:30PM to 6/21 7AM  2100 Block 230th St  Unlocked vehicle entered, ransacked
and cell phone and cash were stolen.
 
6/20 11PM to 6/21 9AM     2000 Block 230th St  Unlocked vehicle entered, ransacked
and cash, watch and jewelry stolen.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 3 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
 
There were 15 incidents in Torrance and 4 in Southeast Torrance.
No incidents of parcel piracy this week reported.
 
Batteries were stolen from 3 vehicles in Southeast Torrance on 6/18 in the evening to
6/19 in the morning in the 23500 Block of Arlington, 2400 Block of 231st Street and the
1900 Block of 238th St.  A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle at 233rd and
Arlington Avenue on 6/20 or 6/21.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
