This report is for Sunday, December 17, 2017 through Saturday, December 23, 2017
with an increase in reported incidents in Southeast Torrance.
56 incidents were reported during the week in Torrance.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 8 in Torrance.  2 were in Southeast Torrance and in North Torrance.
1 each in Old Torrance, Walteria, West and Seaside areas.
 
12/21/17  3 AM to 4 AM  23700 Block Western Ave (Knoll’s Mobil Home Park)  No entry, no loss.
 
12/17/17 11 AM to 12/18/17 8:20 PM  1900 Block 232nd St (Walnut-Cabrillo)
Window screen removed, window forced open and property ransacked.
Unknown property loss at time of report.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 14 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
12/19/17 7:15PM to 12/20/17 7AM  1900 Block 233rd St (Walnut-Cabrillo)
Property taken from unlocked vehicle/purse, doll, slippers, clock radios,
USB converter, flashlight. pencil case, coffee pots, tools, Santa suit and jacket
 
Items stolen from the other 13 vehicles included third row seats, shoes, liquor, registration,
sunglasses, wallet, briefcase, drawing kit, picture frames, calendar, another purse, catalytic
converter, watch, tools, another catalytic converter, headset, handheld radios, phone charger,
another jacket, headphones, keys, another wallet, credit cards and IDs.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 5 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 8 theft incidents and  1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
12/20/17   Noon  1700 Block 245th St (Western Av to Falena Ave)  Delivered parcels taken from front porch.
Mail was taken from a mailbox in Old Torrance house on December 23rd.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
