Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance



This report is for Sunday, April 16, 2017 through Saturday, April 22, 2017.
There were 60 incidents reported.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 8 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
Tuesday, April 18th, 9:25 AM  23000 Block Andreo AV (North of Hull MS)
Suspect rang doorbell, was observed looking in window by victim and
pushes door knob.  Suspect flees when the victim’s neighbor responds
to the attempted entry.  No entry, no loss.
There were 2 burglaries in North Torrance and 1 each in West, Walteria,
Palo del Amo, Delthorne and Old Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 11 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Third row seats were taken from two vehicles in North Torrance.
Two vehicles in the 4400 Block of Pacific Coast Highway were entered
via unknown means and a bicycle, sunglasses, keys, screw gun, vacuum,
sawzall, hammer, drill, batteries, chargers, voltage reader and hand tools
were stolen.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 13 vehicles stolen in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.

THEFT
There were 13 incidents in Torrance and 2 in Southeast Torrance.
Tuesday, April 18th, 12 PM to 6 PM, 2200 Block 235th St
Delivered parcel stolen from front porch.
Monday, April 17th     2300 231st St
Suspect took deceased roommate’s wallet.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence. AUTO BURGLARIES There were 5 in Torrance and windows were smashed in 3 vehicles for entry. Items stolen included a wallet, speaker, cash, sunglasses, a key, backpacks, clothes, tablet
