RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in Southwood-Sunray and Southwood-Riviera.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 16 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed for entry in 5 vehicles,.
Items stolen included tool box, tools, tablet, keys, third row seat, credit cards,
drivers license, social security cards, bag, laptops, watch, notebooks, paperwork,
credit cards, sunglasses, navigation screen, stereo, financial documents, registration,
insurance papers, memory cards, purses, cash, headphones, duffel bag, gym bag,
gym clothes, luggage, shoes, and clothes.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 12 in Torrance and 2 in Southeast Torrance.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence. AUTO BURGLARIES There were 5 in Torrance and windows were smashed in 3 vehicles for entry. Items stolen included a wallet, speaker, cash, sunglasses, a key, backpacks, clothes, tablet
