Torrance Police Looking for UPS Parcel Thief


On Friday, October 16, 2015, at 9:59 AM, a package was delivered to the victim’s residence in the 3800 block of Newton.  At 10:35 AM and 10:38 AM, the suspect vehicle drove past the victim’s residence.  At 10:40 AM, the suspect exited the passenger side of the suspect vehicle, walked to the victim’s front door and knocked.  At 10:41 AM, the suspect vehicle returned and the suspect entered the vehicle with the package in her hand.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: White female adult, thin to regular build, blond, long hair in ponytail, wearing sunglasses, green t-shirt, jeans, and holding a coffee cup.
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Dark (gray, green or black), Toyota Tacoma pick up, 4 door, bed cover, unknown license plate.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
