Traffic Impacts on Sepulveda Blvd and Maple Ave beginning on Monday, August 17, 2020 through August 31, 2020.

 

Sepulveda Blvd. and Maple Ave. Lane Closures

    Phillips 66 will close all traffic lanes on Maple Ave. between Plaza Del Amo and Sepulveda Blvd. to repair their 8” petroleum pipeline at the intersection of Sepulveda Blvd. and Maple Ave.  The work will start on Monday, 8/17/2020 and is proposed to be completed by 8/31/2020

    Work schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM to 3:30PM.

    Traffic Impacts: 

    Sepulveda Blvd. – Westbound
    Two right lanes will be closed for westbound traffic through the Maple Ave. intersection.

    Sepulveda Blvd. –Eastbound
    Both left hand turn pockets will be closed turning onto northbound Maple Ave.

    Maple Ave. between Plaza Del Amo and Sepulveda Blvd.
    Traffic lanes will be closed.
    Motorist traveling northbound will be able to make a right or left turn at Sepulveda Blvd.
    Motorist traveling southbound will be able to make a right or left turn at Plaza Del Amo.

    At the end of the day, all lanes will be accessible.

    Delays are expected and alternate routes are recommended.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
