55 incidents in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at:
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in North Torrance, West Torrance and the Hillside areas.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 13 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed in 7 vehicles for entry.
 
Items stolen were a wallet, gate and garage remote, another wallet, laptop, clothes,
sunglasses, GPS, toolbox, drills, snake wire, vacuum, cell phone, charger, personal
information, another laptop, tablet, ID, credit cards, checkbook, and more sunglasses.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 10 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
9/22/19 10:30 pm to 9/23/19 7:29 am  23700 Block Arlington Avenue
Unsuccessful attempt to steal a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Pickup.
 
9/25/19  9:11 pm to 9:15 pm                 20600 Block Hawthorne Blvd.
3 stolen vehicles.  17 MazdaCX5, 18 Mazda, and a 19 Mazda6.
 
THEFT
There were 12 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles in Old Torrance, Madrona
and the Pueblo.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
