 This report is for Sunday, February 3, 2019 through Saturday, February 9, 2019.
There are 38 incidents on Torrance PD Weekly Crime Log at: 
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 each in the Riviera, Madrona, Seaside and Southwood Riviera.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
3 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed in 2 vehicles for entry.
 
2/4/19 10:45 PM to 2/5/19 7:45 AM  2000 Block 236th Street (Cabrillo to Arlington)
Window smashed for entry and bag containing laptop, tablet, external hard drive
and computer keyboard stolen.
 
AUTO THEFT
There was 1 stolen vehicle in Southwood Riviera.
 
THEFT
There were 10 incidents and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 delivered parcel taken off a front porch in North Torrance and
3 catalytic converters stolen.  2 were stolen in the afternoon of February 6th
in Old Torrance.
 
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT UPDATES
The Planning Commission on February 20,2019 will consider allowing the re-establishment
of a drive-thru restaurant in the M2 zoned property at 2435 Sepulveda Blvd, the location of
the old der Wienerschnitzel .  It will be a Tastea, smoothies and tea restaurant.   For

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTION
No pickup on Thursday, February 21st due to President’s Day on Monday, February 18th.
Trash pickup, in Southeast Torrance, will be on Friday, February 22nd.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
