86 incidents are listed on the report which is a new high in my data base.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in West Torrance and 1 each in North, Walteria and Hollywood Riviera.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 18 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.

Attempted to punch door lock for entry but failed.

Purse, Gym bag, Clothes, Bluetooth, Key, Registration, Cash
Registration, Insurance Paperwork, Keys, Luggage, Clothes, Shoes,
Remote, Amplifier, Subwoofer, Backpack, Tablet, Paperwork, Purse,
Golf bag, Golf Clubs, Purse, Backpack, Food, Cash, Jacket, Registration,
Insurance, Third Row Seat, Registration, Insurance, Lottery Ticket,
Generator, Electronic Polishers, Duffel Bag, Gym Clothes and Headphones.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 6 stolen vehicles in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
5 9 16    8 AM  1800 244th Street   Stolen 2003 Ford pickup.
 
THEFT
There were 41 reports of theft in Torrance.
17 involved air conditioning units stolen from roofs.  5 were in the 4900 block
of 190th St, 10 were in the 22800 block of Hawthorne Blvd (Sepulveda-Lomita)
and 2 at Pacific Coast Highway and Crenshaw Blvd.
 
There were 2 reports of delivered parcels stolen from porches on May 12th in
the Hollywood Riviera and Central Torrance.
 
There were 20 reports of side mirrors removed from parked vehicles between
approximately 9 PM, Monday, May 9th to the following morning.  8 of them were
in Southeast Torrance. Marble Estates was also hit.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
