The City of Torrance will be hosting a Community Workshop regarding the ExxonMobil Torrance refinery on

Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in the Council Chambers.

6A. City Manager – Workshop regarding ExxonMobil use of Modified Hydrogen Fluoride (HMF) Catalyst.

Recommendation of the City Manager that City Council conduct a workshop, receive public input, and provide direction for going forward with respect to:

1) Assessment of City position with respect to Exxon Mobil AQMD application
 
2) Assessment of Modified Hydrogen Fluoride (HMF) alternatives; and
3) Determine position with respect to Governor’s Task Force findings.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
