RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance.  1 in the Riviera and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
Tuesday, May 21st  8 AM to 10:18 AM  2100 Block 236th St
Suspect took negative air machines from residence being renovated.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 18 in Torrance.  6 in Southwood Riviera, 4 in Old Torrance, 3 in the Riviera
2 in the Victor Park area, 2 in the Seaside area and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
 
5/19 8 AM to 5/20 12 PM  238th St and Crenshaw Blvd
A backpack, softball equipment, sunglasses, wheel locks, lug nuts and clothes were
stolen from an unsecured vehicle.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 10 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
5/20 5:30 PM to 5/21 6:07 AM  23800 Cabrillo Av.  Stolen 2003 Chevrolet Silverado
 
THEFT
There were 11 incidents in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
5/22 7:30 PM to 5/23 9:30 AM  1900 Block Middlebrook Road  Vehicle Catalytic Converter stolen.
A total of 3 catalytic converters were stolen during the week.  A parcel was stolen from a porch
in the 2500 Block of Sierra St in the morning on May 20th.
 
LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT – ARRESTS IN LOMITA
1 arrest for assault with a deadly weapon, 1 residential burglary, 1 child endangerment, 3 drugs, 1 drunk in public,
1 ID theft, 4 vehicle violations and 7 warrants.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence. AUTO BURGLARIES There were 5 in Torrance and windows were smashed in 3 vehicles for entry. Items stolen included a wallet, speaker, cash, sunglasses, a key, backpacks, clothes, tablet
