RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 7 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in the Hollywood Riviera, 2 in Old Torrance, 2 in North Torrance and 1 in the Madrona area.
In the burglary in the 3800 Block of Paseo de Las Tortugas, the garage was accessed by unknown means and a 2018 Honda CRV was stolen.  In one of the Old Torrance burglaries, a garage door remote opener was taken from an unlocked vehicle to gain access to the garage and tools were stolen.
In the other Old Torrance burglary, the suspect fled when confronted by the victim inside the home.
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 11 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the Costco parking lot on April 15th at 7:25 PM.
AUTO THEFT
There were 5 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
THEFT
There were 6 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
A delivered parcel was stolen from a doorstep in the 2100 block of Martina Avenue in Old Torrance on Wednesday, April 17th between 3:30PM and 5:30PM.
REPORTS OF A NOISY AIRPLANE ON TUESDAY, APRIL 23RD AT 10:12PM.
The Torrance Airport Noise Abatement Office confirmed that a 1952 Beech C35 aircraft departed Torrance Airport at 1o:12 PM which was a curfew violation.  In addition, noise violations occurred at four of the noise monitors located in the Southwood Riviera, Torrance Heights/New Horizons, Marble Estates and Southeast Torrance/North Lomita areas.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
