RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 8 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 in North Torrance, 2 in West Torrance, 1 in the Seaside area and 1 in the Madrona area.
Suspect fled from a North Torrance home when confronted by resident and suspects in a
West Torrance home attempt fled when a neighbor called out to them.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 14 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
6 vehicles were unlocked.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 9 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 7 incidents in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.

2100 Block 230th Place (North of JH Hull Middle School)
Hood lock defeated and battery stolen from engine compartment.
 
COYOTE SIGHTING
Thursday, March 29th, 4 AM    238th and Cabrillo
A Southeast Torrance resident reported sighting two coyotes as large as German Shepherd dogs.
 
TOYOTA PROPERTY
The Torrance Planning Commission Meeting on April 4, 2018 will consider a conversion in floor
area from general office use to light industrial use to allow for three new light industrial buildings
at 2200 195th Street, Torrance CA.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
