STEM Low Altitude Military Flights over the South Bay on Friday, October 13TH

  
The flight path will be at an altitude low enough for easy viewing by the public. Check out the projected flyover time in your area on the links below.

The flights are part of a two-day event -- an Edwards AFB Family Day Oct. 13 and the Run with History event Oct. 14 – that mark both the 70th anniversary of supersonic flight and the U.S. Air Force’s 70th Birthday.

     The first formation will not be over the South Bay.

    The second formation – an F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-15 Eagle, F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II – is scheduled to fly a flight path over several cities in Southern California, including, San Bernardino, Colton, Riverside, Costa Mesa, Long Beach, Lomita,  Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, Agoura Hills, Simi Valley, Granada Hills, and Santa Clarita and Canyon Country.


    Schools in the South Bay highlighted for the flyover with an approximate time of 12:18 PM to 12:38PM.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
