Home Invasion Robbery in Torrance West of Delthorne Park

TORRANCE, Calif. (FOX 11/CNS) - A woman in her early 70s was beaten inside 
her Torrance home by two men who staged a home invasion robbery but were 
later arrested, authorities said Tuesday.

An alert neighbor noticed suspicious activity outside the home on Sara Drive 
and called police at 10:40 p.m. Monday, according to Torrance police Lt. 
Steve Danjou.

When officers arrived, the two men fled the home, Danjou said. One was 
arrested immediately and the second suspect was found in the attic of the 
woman's gar


Officers discovered the woman was struck several times by the robbers, he 
said. Police discovered one of them had an outstanding murder warrant from 
Colorado, Danjou said.



The men were being booked on suspicion of home invasion robbery, burglary, 
elder abuse and theft of the car from Colorado, he said.
