Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance

 

This report is for Sunday, June 19th through Saturday, June 25, 2016
There were 51 incidents during the reporting period.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 and they were all in North Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 13 and none in Southeast Torrance.
The following items were stolen from vehicles this week:
Fishing poles, tool bag, tools, cell phones, purses, trauma bag,
sunglasses, backpacks, camera, cash, laptop and tablets.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 4 stolen vehicles and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 15 thefts reported.
4 were for unsecured cell phones.
2 for wallets taken from victim’s purse while shopping. 2700 Lomita Blvd and 2500 PCH.
Scam
Wednesday, June 22nd  3800 Sepulveda Blvd  Suspect telephones victim, convinces
her a warrant has been issued due to missed jury duty and to purchase moneypak
cards to prevent her from being arrested.
 
INCIDENT IN SOUTHEAST TORRANCE NOT IN THE REPORT
Monday, June 20th, Evening  2000 Block 236th St
Suspect got in vehicle parked in driveway and shot up drugs leaving the
needle on the car seat.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
