This report is for Sunday, May 17th through Saturday, May 23, 2015.
There were 57 incidents reported on the attached weekly crime log.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 8 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 in North Torrance, 1 in Southwood Riviera, 1 in Hollywood Riviera,
1 north of Madrona Marsh and 1 south of Hickory Park. 
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 11 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Third row seats were taken from 4 vehicles.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 8 vehicles stolen in Torrance including 2 in Southeast Torrance.

THEFT
There were 23 reported incidents of theft, 2 in Southeast Torrance,  which included
8 stolen catalytic converters.  4 of them were removed from vehicles in the daytime
including 1 at 3500 Carson St.  (Del Amo).
 
Thursday, May 22nd, 11:20AM  2200 Block 230th Place  Suspect took victim’s two vehicles’ catalytic converters.
Sunday, May 17th,  2-5PM         23700 Block Arlington Ave   Suspect defeats lock and takes property from locker/cell phone, ID, bank card.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
