RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES

There were 9 in Torrance.  1 in Southeast Torrance, 1 in West Torrance, 1 on Plaza Del Amo west of Crenshaw Blvd
and 6 in North Torrance.

December 26th, 1PM to 4PM, 24000 Block Huber Avenue
Suspect pried open kitchen window for entry.  Ransacked
and took cash, coins and jewelry.

AUTO BURGLARY

There vwere 7 reported and none in Southeast Torrance.

AUTO THEFT

There were 5 in Torrance including one in Southeast Torrance.
December 24th, 1PM, 2000 Block 233rd St  Stolen 2005 GMC Yukon
 
THEFT

Vehicle Catalytic Converter stolen
December 23rd, 3 AM to 3:30 AM, 2200 Block 233rd Street

FORCED OPENING OF MAILBOXES
There were 22 reports of mail boxes being forced open and mail
taken in the 2700 Block of 235th Street (Elm to Juniper) during the morning of
December 26th.  This a high density residential
area of apartments, town homes, etc.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
