Weekly Crime Log for Southeast Torrance


This report is for Sunday, May 19th, 2013 through Saturday, May 25, 2013.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY          None reported during the reporting period.  However, an
attempted residential burglary  was reported by several SETHA members on Tuesday, May
28th, in the 2000 block of 236th St (Cabrillo-Arlington).  This was an evening incident.
 
An attempted residential burglary occurred on Sunday, May 19th at 1:45PM in the 6500 Block
of Certa Drive in Rancho Palos Verdes.  The rear sliding glass door was shattered.
Suspect 1:  MB/20-25/160LBS/BLK HAIR
Suspect 2:  MB/20-25/
Suspect 1 knocked several times at the front door.  Victim was home and didn’t recognize Suspect
1 and didn’t answer the door.
Suspect went to rear of location and shattered the sliding glass door.  Victim’s made themselves
known and suspects were seen leaving in a GOLD COLOR 4 DOOR SEDAN WITH 3 MALE BLACKS
INSIDE THE VEHICLE.  POSSIBLY A COROLLA OR CAMRY.
 
AUTO THEFT        Tuesday, May 21st, 12:08PM  Sepulveda and Arlington  Stolen 99 Honda Accord
 
THEFT                    Thursday, May 23rd 3:45PM to Friday, May 24th, 1AM, 228th and Arlington Avenue
Wheels and tires stolen from parked vehicle.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
