Residential Burglaries - None reported again this week.

                                                                    Suspect uses a knife to stab victim in the abdomen.


Holiday Decoration Vandalism in Southeast Torrance.
During the past two weeks, there has been seven instances of holiday decoration vandalism
 involving 5 students from Hull Middle School.  The area involved is from 231st Street
south to 237th Street and from Walnut Street to Arlington Avenue. The vandalism occurred in the time frame from 7:30AM to 8:00AM and 3:05PM to 4:00PM.   This problem was brought
to the attention of the Vice Principal at Hull Middle School and disciplinary action was immediately taken by the school staff.  If your holiday decorations have been vandalized, if you have had plants
removed from your property or had decorative outdoor flags stolen, you should contact the Vice Principal at Hull so she can be made aware of the issue.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
