                           Suspect(s) smashed rear window of vehicle.  No property loss.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY  10/11/12   3PM to 7PM  2000 Block 235th St
      Suspect(s) possible entered open window and took laptop and jewelry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY  10/8/12  10AM to 2:30PM  24400 Block Walnut St
      Suspect(s) cut screen, removed window for entry.  Unknown loss at time of report.

Message from Torrance Police Department   Thursday Afternoon, October 18th

                       A propane type ordor has been noted in the southeast portion of the city and is now moving north. The cause is believed to be from a source outside the city. All readings show no health impact for the city                                          *****

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
