Weekly Crime Log for SE Torrance Sunday, February 12, 2012 through Saturday, February 18, 2012

An increase in crime in the SETHA membership area this past week.

Residential Burglary   2/16/2012 9AM  1900 235th Place (Walnut)  Suspect(s) kicked in door but fleed when confronted by the victim inside the residence.

Strong Arm Robbery  2/18/2012  1:51PM  Sur La Brea Park   Suspect rode up on a skateboard, punched victim in the head causing victim to fall to the ground whee the suspect continued to repeatedly punch the victim in the head and chest before demanding the victim's property, cash and marijuana pipe.

Vandalism                  2/15 10PM to 2/16 7:30AM  2400 227th St (Pennsylvania)  Suspect(s) slashed all eight of the tires on two vehicles belonging to the same owner.

Vandalism                  2/13 4PM to 2/14 10AM       2100 Middlebrook Road (East of Arlington)
Suspect smashed vehicle window.  No entry and no property loss.

Auto Theft      2/13/2012 10:48AM 22900 Walnut St  Stolen 2005 Toyota Tacoma

Auto Theft      2/13/2012  1:58PM   2200 Sepulveda Blvd (Arlington SW Corner Parking Lot)
Stolen 2009 Yamaha motorcycle.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence. AUTO BURGLARIES There were 5 in Torrance and windows were smashed in 3 vehicles for entry. Items stolen included a wallet, speaker, cash, sunglasses, a key, backpacks, clothes, tablet
