Torrance Blvd Lane Closure Saturday July 9, 2011

WESTBOUND Torrance Blvd., between Western Avenue and Sartori Avenue, will be CLOSED on Saturday, July 9th, beginning at 7:00 AM and reopening to traffic at 7:00 PM. This closure is necessary in order to perform the slurry seal operations adjacent to the bridge due to the restricted roadway width in this area.

Traffic Impacts from 7AM through 7PM Saturday, July 9th:

  • Westbound Torrance Blvd, will be CLOSED between Sartori Avenue and Western Avenue
  • Cabrillo Avenue and Van Ness Avenue will be down to one lane in both directions at the intersection with Torrance Blvd.
  • Right turns will be prohibited for southbound traffic on Van Ness Avenue to Torrance Blvd.
  • Left turns will be prohibited for northbound traffic on Cabrillo Avenue to Torrance Blvd.
Detours will be set up to redirect westbound through traffic off of Torrance Blvd. onto Carson Street via Western Avenue. Delays are expected. Changeable message signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
