Southest Torrance Library Reopening

The Southeast Torrance Library, 23115 Arlington Avenue, is anticipated to reopen on Monday, April 13, 2009 at 11:00AM.

The library has been closed for 3 1/2 months for refurbishment including new carpet, inside paint, electrical upgrade, internet upgrade and a new front desk.

Open House will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
