SETHA MEETING

What: Southeast Torrance Homeowners' Association Meeting

Where: John Adams Elementary School Cafeteria, 2121 West 238th St, Torrance, CA

When: Thursday, March 19, 2009
7pm to 9pm

The Torrance Fire Department will discuss the Vial-of-Life Program and distribute the Vial-of-Life sticker, plastic container and forms.

Torrance Memorial Medical Center will review the proposed plan to build a seven-story new Main Tower, the "Hospital of Tomorrow" on Lomita Blvd.

Dr George Mannon, Superintendent, Torrance Unified School District and Mr Albert Muratsuchi, President of the Board of Education, will review proposed improvements planned for John Adams, Howard Wood, Hull at Hull and Torrance High School from the Measures Y & Z bond money.

Election of SETHA Board of Directors for 2009.

Doors prizes as of 3/8/09 include three $25 gift certificates from Rizzo's Pizzeria, 2350 West Sepulveda Blvd, a $50 gift card from Bob Lingley Chevron, 235th & Crenshaw Blvd and a $25 gift card from Hof's Hut Restaurant & Bakery, 237th and Crenshaw Blvd.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
