Free Torrance Symphony Concert

The Torrance Symphony would like to invite you to a free concert -- Festival of Music this Saturday, March 21st. Enjoy listening to The Torrance Symphony conducted by Maestro Frank Fetta featuring cello soloist, Margaret Zhou -- a winner of the Young Artists Concerto Competition.

Pastorale Symphony, Beethoven
Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream (Overture & Scherzo)
Cello Concerto, Saint-Saens

When: Saturday, March 21st, 2009

Where: James Armstrong Theatre - 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance

Time: 8:00 PM - Arrive early, as seats are limited (first-come, first-served basis) - Tickets are distributed at the door on the night of the concert

Friends of the Symphony Membership have early seating at 7:00 PM and listen to Maestro Fetta's pre-concert lecture about the evening's program. Members are also invited to an afterglow after the concert in the Green Room. New members are always welcome to join!

This is the third of four FREE concerts this year. The next concert will be Friday, May 22, 2009.

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
