Gem & Mineral Show @ Ken Miller Rec Center

The South Bay Lapidary & Mineral Society will be hosting a Gem & Mineral Show this weekend -- Saturday & Sunday, March 28th & 29th. This event will feature special guest exhibitors and demonstrators from the American Opal Society, the Fluorescent Mineral Society, the Route 66 Gold Miners, Inc., and our very own Petrified Forest.

When: Saturday, March 28th - 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM -- Sunday, March 29th 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Where: Ken Miller Recreation Center - 3341 Torrance Blvd., Torrance

Cost: Free admission, parking, and door prizes

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
