City of Torrance Commissioner Training & Openings for Ethics & Integrity Committee

The City of Torrance Commissioner Certification Training is being offered on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center in the Toyota Meeting Hall, 3330 Civic Center Drive.

Completion of a two-hour session is required for residents to become eligible for appointment to a commission or the Torrance Ethics & Integrity Committtee. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate valid for two years.

www.torrnet.com/commissionercert.htm Applicatons must be received by March 19, 2009.

Attending this training will allow participants to apply for the new Torrance Ethics & Integrity Committee. Applications must be received in the City Clerk's office NLT 5:30pm on April 1, 2009 for the Ethics & Integrity Committee. Applications for this position are available at

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
