////Added Item Earlier, this afternoon, a woman was loading groceries
in the trunk of her vehicle at Sam’s Clubon Skypark Drive in Torrance and her purse was stolen.
Torrance Police were notified and spotted the suspect’s vehicle, a
Kia, and attempted to make a traffic stop.
A pursuit ended near 77th and Main Street where the suspect’s vehicle
crashed into a motel.
Suspect arrested. /////
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 in West Torrance, 1 in the Seaside area and 1 in the LaTerraza
area.
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance including 1 in Southeast Torrance.
7/4/19 8 PM to 9:30 PM 2300 Block 235th St Keys taken from unlocked
vehicle.
AUTO THEFT
There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
THEFT
There were 10 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance
A delivered parcel was taken from a porch in the 5300 Block of Arvada St
after 8:37 PM on July 6th.
An Offer up transaction went sour in the 5500 Block of Carmelynn st.
Suspect met victim to conduct
an Offer up transaction and fled with a Fitbit, watch and basketball cards
when the victim briefly
reentered his residence.
ROBBERY-WEAPON
A Craiglist transaction went sour in the 17400 Block of Hawthorne Blvd on
7/3/2019 around 9 PM.
Suspect and victim met to conduct a Craiglist transaction before suspect
fees with victim’s cash
and brandishes a handgun when victim requests his purchased cell
phone.
ROBBERY- STRONG ARM
Another transaction went sour in the 2100 Block of Redondo Beach Blvd on
7/2/2019 at 5:02 PM.
Suspect and victim agree to meet to complete sale before suspect forcibly
takes victim’s property
which included video game and cash.
PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA
The property at 2355 Sepulveda Blvd at Vine that previously was occupied by
Bikecology and the
Mattress Store is now the new location for ICAN California Abilities
