RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in North, Southeast and Southwood.
On 6/21 between 6 am and 11 am, 22900 Block of Arlington, suspect forces open door and took
game consoles, TV, jewelry box and jewelry.
On 6/21 at approx 3:25 am, 3700 Block of Artesia Blvd, multiple mailboxes were pried open and
mail and parcels were stolen.
Betweeen 6/23 and 6/25, 21300 Anza Ave, residence was entered by unknown means and ransacked.
Property taken from inside the house and driveway included a TV, printer, cattle skull, electric guitars,
tools, clothes, jewelry, speakers, pool cues and two automobiles - 08 BMW335i and a 05 Nissan Altima.
AUTO BURGLARY
Note: 2 instances of auto burglary in the 1900 Block of 234th in Southeast Torrance this current week.
There were 13 in Torrance and 2 in Southeast Torrance.
6/21 8:40 am 23400 Block Western Av Door handle damaged for entry. Spools of copper wire,
air tank and shop vac stolen.
6/24 3 am 23500 Block Falena Av Window smashed for entry and wallet stolen.
AUTO THEFT
There were 10 vehicles stolen in Torrance. and 7 of them were 99, 04, 05, 06 and 07 model vehicles
Silverado and Sierra models continue to be stolen.
THEFT
There were 17 incidents of theft and 9 of those involved catalytic converters.
On 6/22 ti 6/23, a suspect entered a church in the 2700 Block of 182nd Street by unknown means,
reached through the mail slot to unlock an interior office door and stole a laptop, checks and keys.
