This report is for Sunday, September 6, 2015 through Saturday, September 12, 2015
38 incidents were reported to Torrance Police during the period.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 in West Torrance, 1 in Hickory Park, 1 in Delthorne Park area and 1 in Old Torrance.
A window was open in residence and a door was unlocked in another.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 8 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
One vehicle was unlocked. 
A catalytic converter and 2 sets of third row seats were stolen.
 
Third Row Seat Incidents
Sunday,     September 6th,     5 PM to 7 PM,             3400 Carson St, Window pried for entry and third row seat stolen
Thursday, September 10th,    5:50PM to 7:16 PM,    3400 Carson St, Window pried for entry and third row seat stolen.
 
AUTO THEFT
5 vehicles were stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
