RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance.  1 in West Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
May 3 to May 4  23700 Block Western Av (Mobile Home Park) Laptop and bowl taken.
 
COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 12 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
5 vehicles were unlocked and a window was smashed in 1 vehicle for entry.
May 4 to May 5  2000 Block 236th Place   Backpack, cell phone and ID stolen.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 3 vehicles stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 13 incidents and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 delivered parcels stolen from porches, 2 catalytic converters and 3 tailgates stolen from vehicles.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
