Coronavirus Update for May 7, 2020 308 cases in Torrance

 
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) has confirmed 51 new deaths and 815 new cases of 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
 
 
TORRANCE                       308 increase of 2        (The community rate in Torrance is 206 cases per 100,000 people)
  This number includes all Torrance zip codes, including addresses not within the City boundaries.
 
Hermosa Beach                 25 no change             (The community rate in Hermosa Beach is 127 cases per 100,000 people)
Lawndale                           75 increase of 1         (The community rate in Lawndale is 223 cases per 100,000 people)
Lomita                               40 no change             (The community rate in Lomita is 193 cases per 100,000 people)
Manhattan Beach             68 increase of 1         (The community rate in MHB is 188 cases per 100,000 people)
PVE                                    40 no change             (The community rate in PVE is 296 cases per 100,000 people)
RPV                                    74 increase of 3         (The community rate in RPV is 173 cases per 100,000 people)
Redondo Beach              116 increase of 1          (The community rate in Redondo Beach is 168 cases per 100,000 people)
Rolling Hills Estates          13 no change              (The community rate in RHE is 160 cases per 100,000 people)
San Pedro                         630 increase of 5        (The community rate in San Pedro is 807 cases per 100,000 people)

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling.
