Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance 4 29 2018 to 5 5 2018

 This report is for Sunday, April 29, 2018 through Saturday, May 5, 2018.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance including 1 each in Southeast Torrance,
North Torrance, West Torrance, Delthorne and Southwood.
 
May 2, 2018  4:50 AM  22900 Block Cabrillo Avenue
Suspect entered unlocked door and took purse.
 
The North Torrance residence was tented and unsecured for fumigation from May 4th to May 6th.
The West Torrance residence door was unlocked, property was ransacked and tablet stolen on May 2nd.
The Delthorne residence door was unlocked and a purse was stolen on May 2nd. 
A bicycle was taken from an open garage in Southwood at 1AM on May 2nd.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Door locks were defeated in three incidents, windows smashed in another, 1 vehicle was unlocked
and unknown means for entry in 1 vehicle. 
Items stolen included a purse, wallet, stereo, sunglasses, another wallet and documents.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 3 stolen vehicles and 1 stolen trailer in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 9 incidents and none in Southeast Torrance.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
