Weekly Crime Report 4 22 2018 to 4 28 2018 and Homicide in the Promenade on the Peninsula

 HOMICIDE IN ROLLING HILLS ESTATES
A woman was found stabbed with her throat cut in the Promenade on the Peninsula in Rolling Hills Estates.
 
 
This report is for Sunday, April 22nd through Saturday, April 28th, 2018.
There were 41 incidents on the weekly log.  Link to the Torrance Police
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were none in Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 7 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
3 in North Torrance, 2 in Country Hills, and 1 each in West and Seaside areas.
Items stolen included cash, cell phone, sunglasses, more cash, pocket knife,
garage remote, eyeglasses, backpack, more sunglasses, camera and camera equipment.
 
THEFT
There were 19 incidents reported and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
4/23 8 PM to 4/24 6 AM     2300 Block 231st St     Tailgate removed from vehicle.
Batteries were stolen from 2 parked vehicles, mailboxes were opened in the 2500 Block
of 235th Street and mail was stolen.  A delivered parcel was stolen from a front porch
in the 3700 Block of 171st Street.  4 catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles in
North Torrance and 1 in West Torrance.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only
