RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 5 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 in the Hollywood Riviera and 4 in North Torrance. 
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Items stolen included purses (3) , laptop, sunglasses (2), gym bag,
gym clothes, shoes, computer bag, ID, keys, wallet, coin pouch,
registration, TV’s, t-shirts, and checkbooks.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 6 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance. 
One was a 2017 Mercedes Benz SUV stolen from the 3300 Block of Pacific Coast Hwy
 
THEFT
There were 15 incidents reported and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 bicycles were stolen and 4 wallets were stolen from purses while the victims were
shopping in the 3400 Block of Sepulveda Blvd, 2500 Block of PCH, 5100 Block of 190th Street
and 24300 Block of Crenshaw Blvd.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
