RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in North Torrance, 2 in the Riviera, 1 in Torrance Heights and 1 in Country Hills.
 
On November 11th,  a key was used to enter a residence in the 400 Block of Paseo De La Playa,
in the Riviera, and suspects took up residence in a vacation rental.  They fled with stolen electronics
when confronted by a housekeeper.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 21 in Torrance including 1 in Southeast Torrance.
11/13/2019  12:15 AM       2000 Block 238th St Battery stolen from vehicle.
Another auto burglary in Southeast Torrance this week in the 1900 Block of 234th St
 
Also on 11/13, windows in 4 vehicles were smashed in the 5000 Block of Pacific Coast Highway
and windows in 2 vehicles were smashed in the 3400 Block of Del Amo Blvd in the early morning
hours. 
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 8 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 10 incidents in Torrance including 1 in Southeast Torrance.
11/15/2019   3:40 PM  2100 Block 235th St  Delivered parcel stolen from front porch.
Catalytic converters were stolen from 2 vehicles in Torrance.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
