45 incidents in the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at:
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance,
Hillside, North and West Torrance.
11 23 2019 7 PM 1700 Block 236th St Residence tented for fumigation
entered. Unknown loss.
In the Hillside burglary, suspect took property out of an unlocked vehicle
and attempted to open residence door.
In the North Torrance burglary, suspect attempted to force open a door and
window. No entry, no loss.
In the West Torrance burglary, suspect attempted to force open a sliding
glass door. No entry, no loss.
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 14 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
3 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed in 4 vehicles for
entry.
AUTO THEFT
Three vehicles were stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast
Torrance.
THEFT
There were 19 incidents and none in Southeast Torrance.
No incidents of porch piracy reported this week.
Catalytic converters were stolen from 3 vehicles, a battery was stolen from
1 vehicle and tires taken off
a parked vehicle in the 3600 Block of Fashion Way.
On 11/17 at 7 PM in the 22000 Block of Hawthorne Blvd, a shopper was
loading her vehicle and a suspect
took her wallet.
There were 6 incidents involving items being stolen from gym lockers.
11/19 4 PM to 4:45 PM 20000 Block Hawthorne Blvd Suspect defeated lock
and took wallet from one locker
and keys out of another locker to enter victim’s vehicle and took backpack
and headphones.
11/19 5:30 PM to 6:20 PM 2600 Pacific Coast Highway. Suspect defeated
lock and took wallet from one locker
and defeated lock on another locker to steal victim’s vehicle keys and took
purse from the vehicle.
11/19 7 PM to 9:30 PM 3500 Block Carson St. Suspect defeated lock and
took backpack, cell phone, credit cards,
cash, clothes and key from locker.
11/23 Noon to 1:30 PM 3500 Block Carson St. Suspect defeated lock and
took bag, charger, cash, credit card and keys from locker.
