47 incidents on the Torrance Police Department Weekly Crime Log at:
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 8 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 in Southwood Riviera, 2 in Walteria and 1 each in the Riviera, Hillside,
Marble Estates and County Hills areas.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 vehicles were unlocked, 2 vehicles had smashed windows, 2 vehicles
had punched door locks and 1 vehicle had a pried open window.
 
Items stolen included backpack, laptops, computer cords, flash drives, ID,
another backpack, computer, eyeglasses, headphones, third row seat, purses,
garage remote and a diaper bag.
 
AUTO THEFT
Two vehicles were stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 14 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Parcels were stolen off front porches in West Torrance and North Torrance.
On March 21st, between 5:50 PM and 7:17 PM at a fitness center in the 19800
Block of Hawthorne, items were stolen from two gym lockers.  Cell phones
and clothes were taken from one locker. Keys, backpack, wallet and a book
were taken from another locker and then the suspect took property out of
the victim’s vehicle.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
