RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 in North Torrance and 1 in Old Torrance.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
2 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed in 3 vehicles for entry.
 
June 25th Overnight  2200 Block 232nd Street   Plastic key used for entry.
Vehicle ransacked with no property loss.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 7 stolen vehicles and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
There were 12 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
  4 catalytic converters stolen.
    Two vehicles in the 2000 Block Border Avenue.
    Two vehicles in the 1500 Block Hickory Avenue.
 
  1 incident of stolen wheels/tires.

Torrance Police Arrest Suspect in 7-11 Robbery in Southeast Torrance
On Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at about 4:30 AM, Torrance Police Patrol Officers arrested an individual suspected of robbing multiple 7-Eleven convenience stores in the area.   Officers initially responded to a call of a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 20521 Western Avenue at approximately 4:20 AM.  The suspect fled the scene leaving behind a pellet gun and mask. 
 
Ten minutes later, the same suspect, now armed with a knife, committed a second robbery at the7-Eleven located at 1730 Sepulveda Boulevard.  Responding Officers ultimately found the suspect who was sitting in his vehicle nearby the business. The arrestee is identified as Anthony Leon, 18 yrs of San Pedro. 
 
Investigators believe this suspect may be connected to additional 7-Eleven convenience store robberies.  On Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at approximately 4:20 AM, a suspect robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 18203 Western Avenue.  Arm ed with a knife, the suspect stole cash from the registers.

Torrance Police Arrest Suspect in Residential Burglary in the 2400 Block of El Dorado Avenue in Old Torrance.
On Thursday, July 5, 2018, in the evening around 7:40 PM, the occupant of a house in the 2400 Block of El Dorado returned
home and saw a man, in shorts, inside the residence.  Torrance Police were notified and arrested the suspect.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence. AUTO BURGLARIES There were 5 in Torrance and windows were smashed in 3 vehicles for entry. Items stolen included a wallet, speaker, cash, sunglasses, a key, backpacks, clothes, tablet
