RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
None in Torrance
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
2 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed for entry in 3 vehicles.
Items stolen included tool bags, electronic equipment, GPS, charger cords, backpack,
laptops, stereo, wallet, cash, ID, medical cards, and purse.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were two stolen vehicles and none in Southeast Torrance.
A 2019 Acura TLX was stolen from the 25300 Block of Crenshaw Blvd sometime
between July 9th and July 17th.
 
THEFT
There were 14 incidents and none in Southeast Torrance.
Tailgates were stolen from two vehicles in North Torrance.
A delivered parcel was stolen from the front door area in the 2900 Block of 235th Street.
There were 4 incidents of theft from gym lockers.
   7 11 18  5:30PM to 7:15 PM       2600 Pacific Coast Hwy  Suspect defeated lock and stole a purse and keys.
   7 12 18  10:15 AM to 12:10PM  2600 Pacific Coast Hwy  Suspect defeated lock and stole purses.
   7 12 18  7:20 PM to 7:45 PM      3500 Carson St    Suspect defeated lock and took cell phone & cash.
   7 13 18  10 PM to 10:10 PM       2600 Pacific Coast Hwy  Suspect defeated lock and took purse.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
